The Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation (RNCSF) is a UK children’s charity that creates educational and life opportunities for care-experienced children and young people, as well as those from low-income communities where opportunities are limited. Working with more than 100 local authority and charity partners, schools, community organisations and government bodies, the Foundation supports access to high-quality education and stable care, while contributing to policy development.
Its Bursary Access Scheme partners with more than 250 state boarding and independent schools to widen access to fully funded school placements. RNCSF also provides structured mentoring, career guidance and pathways to higher education and apprenticeships, helping young people move from school towards fulfilling employment. Its Supporting Care Pathways work builds strategic partnerships to help children access stable, loving care arrangements.
Since 2013, the Foundation has supported more than 1,800 children, with over 500 currently in school placements and more than 200 involved in university-preparation mentoring.
