The history of Royalty dates back to the late 19th century when Ebramjee Hassanally arrived in Sri Lanka from Gujarat, India, in search of better opportunities. With humble beginnings in Pettah, the country's main wholesale market, the business passed down to Ebramjee's son, Mohamedally. Today, Huzaifa Mohamedally, the chairman and C.E.O of Royalty Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., continues to build on the strong foundation and goodwill left by his forefathers.
