Rozhledna

Rozhledna is a Czech nonprofit organisation focused on advice and support for people living with severe visual impairments. It also works with families, friends and professionals, sharing practical knowledge and encouraging greater understanding of blindness and low vision. Its services include counselling, educational activities and experiential programmes designed around the everyday experiences and needs of people with visual impairments.

Rozhledna offers courses, lectures and seminars on topics such as nonverbal communication, body language and self-presentation for people who are blind, as well as sessions for sighted audiences. Its online seminars address eye care for blind people, including issues related to ocular prostheses. The organisation also publishes informative articles and social media series about subjects such as Braille and the lives of blind adults. In collaboration with partners, it promotes accessible sport, including workshops introducing adapted tennis for blind and partially sighted players. Through these activities, Rozhledna combines guidance, education and shared experience to help participants find useful information, develop skills and engage with the wider community.
