Richie Phillips Motion Design

RP Motion is an independent animation and motion graphics studio based in Leicester, run by freelance animator and motion designer Richie Phillips. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Richie works with businesses, creative agencies and in-house teams across the UK, either remotely or on site. The studio helps make complex subjects clear and engaging through visual storytelling, supporting projects from early ideas and storyboards through animation to final delivery.

RP Motion creates explainer videos, product animation, motion graphics, logo animation, brand idents, social media content, broadcast graphics and visual effects. Its work also includes technical and engineering animation, training videos, character animation, game trailers and theatre projections. Featured projects range from product and packaging animations for DeWalt and Goodyear to explainers for Thomson Reuters, Advanced Energy and Exponential Training, alongside broadcast and entertainment work.

Clients can commission a complete project or bring Richie in for freelance support within an existing team. RP Motion can also plan films for multiple uses, including website, presentation and social media versions.
