Réseau québécois de recherche Vieillissement RQRV

The Réseau québécois de recherche sur le vieillissement (RQRV) is an intersectoral research network supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec. It brings together more than 500 researchers and graduate students to advance innovative research on aging across Québec, with nearly 30 years of thematic research and more than $20 million in research funding since its creation. Its mission is to support people in aging well by addressing their needs, preferences, and aspirations.

The network organizes its scientific work around four themes: cognitive aging and mental health; physical mechanisms, health, and determinants; living environments and social interactions; and health policies, care, and health and social services. RQRV supports its members through funding for pilot and intersectoral projects, research platforms, scientific events, conference organization, and publication. Student programs help fund the presentation and publication of research findings. The network also shares public-facing content, promotes citizen engagement and participation in studies, and hosts events and training.
