About RRC
Reconstructing Judaism is the central organization of the groundbreaking Reconstructionist movement. Founded in 1968, the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College (RRC) is the sole seminary of the movement, dedicated to teaching Judaism as an evolving religious civilization. RRC strives to engage with the riches of Jewish tradition to create meaning, connect to the sacred, and foster greater love, justice, and peace within individuals and communities.
The college offers various programs and resources, including the Deeply Rooted and Boldly Relevant program, which provides an immersive experience in the Reconstructionist community. RRC also offers a rabbinical program that emphasizes social justice organizing, multifaith studies, and spiritual direction. Graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and deep understanding of Jewish tradition to serve the Jewish people and respond to the evolving needs of Jewish communities.
