Redhill & Reigate Swimming Club is a member-run, non-profit competitive swimming club serving the Reigate and Redhill community. Established in 1887, it is described as Surrey’s oldest swimming club and one of the oldest in the UK. The club welcomes swimmers throughout the year and offers professional coaching and technique instruction for children aged six and above, from novices to international competitors.

Its age-group squads support development at every level, from local galas to elite championships, with opportunities to build skills, confidence and competitive experience. The club also runs a Masters programme for adults aged 18 and over, combining expert coaching, fitness and age-group competition in an inclusive setting. Training takes place across several local venues, with sessions organised by squad.

Alongside sporting achievement, the club celebrates personal progress, including improvements in technique and individual times. It promotes swimmer participation through leadership roles such as squad and club captaincies, and highlights nationally recognised standards for governance, safety and athlete welfare
