Road Runners Zeist is a running club founded on January 1, 2011, for people who enjoy running, fitness, and a friendly group atmosphere. Its weekly training takes place on Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. at the Dijnselburg athletics track in Zeist, with changing rooms available from 6:00 p.m. Sessions are led by qualified trainers and focus on running technique, posture, and building fitness. Newcomers can attend three trial sessions before deciding whether to join; membership costs €15 per month.

The club welcomes runners with a wide range of ambitions. Some members attend the weekly track session without entering races, while others train for one or two marathons a year. Everyone’s efforts are valued, and group training combines exercise with relaxation and conversation. Each year, the club selects three or four running events to prepare for together. Its activities also include offerings such as trail runs, clinics, and social gatherings. Road Runners Zeist presents itself as an inclusive, sociable running group serving the Zeist area and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
