Players can create an account through Discord and jump into the game, where the site reports current activity and publishes news about updates, worlds, and account limits. The experience is supported by rs2b0t, a browser-based, scriptable bot client, with documentation for players who want to write their own bots.

The site also offers tools and resources for following the community and its game economy. Players can compare rankings on the hiscores table, view wealth trends in economy charts, and buy or sell with other players through markets. Progress tracking displays experience gained, play time, and streaks for each character, while a death map plots in-game deaths. A community Discord supports registration, announcements, and ban appeals, and a player-contributed wiki provides quest and skill guides. Account management includes password and recovery details. rs2b2t is built on the Lost City project; the site distinguishes its moderated original as a separate experience.
