Rotterdamse Schaakbond

The Rotterdam Chess Federation (Rotterdamse Schaakbond, or RSB) is a regional organization supporting chess clubs, players and events in the Rotterdam area. Its website serves as a hub for information about organized chess, from team competitions to individual championships and youth activities. Players and clubs can find competition schedules, divisions, regulations, match forms and results, alongside an archive of past seasons.

The RSB also publishes a calendar of regional and national tournaments, information on its personal and open championships, senior events, and a wide range of youth competitions, including the RSB Grand Prix and Groene Hart Cup. Its news and event listings cover tournaments, chess lessons, club developments and other community updates. Visitors can use the site to locate affiliated clubs, contact details, club websites and publications. Additional resources include information about RSB governance, committees, trainers, regulations, meeting documents, chess ratings, online chess, training and books. By bringing these services and resources together, the federation helps connect the region’s chess community and makes competitive and recreational opportunities easier to discover.
