About RSCJ International
The Society of the Sacred Heart, known as RSCJ, is an international Catholic congregation founded in 1800 by St. Madeleine Sophie Barat in France. With over 1,600 dedicated members serving across 43 countries, the RSCJ community is committed to spreading the love of Jesus through comprehensive education and spiritual growth.
The Society focuses on four Apostolic Priorities: Education, Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation, and Spirituality Formation. Each of these priorities addresses critical needs in today's world, encouraging both RSCJ and their mission partners to respond with compassion and love. The Society promotes various educational initiatives, ranging from formal education to socio-educational projects aimed at developing skills and knowledge.
