RS Deer Ranch is a family-established Texas whitetail deer breeding and hunting operation in Waller County, near Hempstead. Founded by Roy Douglas and Shirley Ann Malonson, the ranch has more than 40 years of hunting experience and operates on 251 acres, approximately 50 minutes from Houston. Its breeding program began under a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department deer breeder permit and includes a bio-secured, closed whitetail herd. The facility features redesigned breeding pens and a 30-foot outer fence separating the breeding herd from native and released deer.

The ranch uses both natural and artificial breeding methods, with the goal of producing healthy whitetail deer with desirable size and antler structure. Services and offerings include breeder bucks, semen, open and bred does, stocker bucks, and fawns for sale. RS Deer Ranch also provides whitetail and exotic game hunting, lodging, nature tours, and fishing. Visitors are welcome by appointment, and the ranch offers consultations for prospective customers.
