The Red de Salud Digital de Universidades Estatales (Digital Health Network of State Universities) is a collaborative initiative formed by thirteen state universities across Chile. As part of the Plan de Fortalecimiento de las Universidades Estatales, this project aims to strengthen and enhance competencies and capabilities in digital health, particularly in the area of mental health. The network focuses on developing a coordinated and effective national platform for digital healthcare, facilitating the digitalization process in regional and national healthcare systems.

They also prioritize the promotion of educational programs and training models to equip students with competencies in health information systems. Additionally, the network aims to create a skilled workforce that can implement certified platforms for mental health promotion, prevention, and treatment in the student community. With four dedicated working groups, the network is dedicated to establishing collaborative governance, enhancing competencies, designing and implementing information systems, and promoting mental health.

Partnering with external entities, the Red de Salud Digital de Universidades Estatales is committed to addressing the challenges faced by universities in digitalizing healthcare education and services, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes across Chile
