The Romanian Society for English and American Studies (RSEAS) is a national association of academics dedicated to advancing research and scholarship in English and American studies. Its work focuses on promoting Romanian scientific research and supporting the development of studies on the languages, literatures, cultures, histories, and civilizations of Britain, the United States, and other Anglophone regions. RSEAS also encourages comparative research involving Romanian language, literature, and culture. The society is affiliated with the European Society for the Study of English (ESSE), connecting its members with a wider scholarly community.

RSEAS supports academic exchange by sharing calls for conference papers and collective publications, along with information about conferences, journals, and research opportunities. Its website features news and announcements, an archive of past events and publications, and information about the organisation and membership subscriptions. Through these resources, the society helps academics discover opportunities to present research, contribute to publications, and engage with current discussions across language, literature, and cultural studies.
