RSMS is a professional association promoting the interests of doctors and medical staff, in the development of metabolic surgery, in supporting the improvement of medical quality for patients benefit (with special attention and interest for scientific and educational activities of metabolic surgery in Romania and for international collaboration in the field). Our mission is to bring together the national scientific, surgical and medical communities, aiming to disseminate the knowledge, and establishing national standards of care for the treatment obesity and its metabolic morbid consequences and to allying them to international standards and guidelines.
