RSPCA QLD, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Queensland, is the state's leading animal welfare charity dedicated to improving the lives of domestic, farmed, and native animals throughout Queensland. With a history dating back to 1883, RSPCA QLD has been a trusted resource for animals in need for nearly 140 years. As a non-government, community-based charity, they care for over 45,000 animals annually, relying heavily on the generosity of animal lovers in the community.

Their vital work includes rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals, as well as prosecuting animal cruelty and neglect under the Animal Care and Protection Act (2001). RSPCA QLD offers a range of services, including animal care, wildlife rehabilitation, finding homes for animals, lost animal services, education programs, and more. With 10 Adoption Centres across Queensland, a Wildlife Hospital, and a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, they are actively working towards their mission statement: Together We Change Lives.
