Woodside Animal Centre, a proud branch of the RSPCA, has been dedicated to animal welfare since its establishment in Leicester in 1881. Located on Scudamore Road, the Centre provides essential services including animal adoption, rehoming, and a comprehensive vet centre that opened in 2022. This state-of-the-art facility, equipped with advanced medical amenities, allows for immediate care and treatment of animals in need, eliminating the delays previously experienced.

Visitors can explore the Centre during designated visiting hours and witness first-hand the commitment to enhancing animal lives. Woodside also operates a pet shop, a pet food bank, and multiple charity shops across the region, supporting its mission through fundraising efforts and community involvement. With a variety of dog training classes and educational outreach programs, Woodside focuses on both animal care and public awareness, ensuring that compassion for all creatures continues to thrive. By adopting, donating, or volunteering, the community plays a vital role in sustaining this impactful work.
