RTC Hollandse Delta is a regional water polo training centre in Dordrecht, supporting talented and motivated players who aim to progress toward national youth teams and the highest levels of the sport. Recognised by the Dutch swimming federation, KNZB, the centre has operated within Dordt Talentcentrum since 2013. Its programmes combine professional water polo coaching with personal support for players’ technical, tactical, physical and mental development. Experienced, qualified coaches work alongside specialists in strength training, nutrition and mental coaching, helping athletes build performance, focus, confidence and resilience.

The centre offers three development pathways. The entry programme introduces children aged 9 to 13 to regional training once a week. The talent programme serves players aged 12 to 15, with two weekly sessions combining pool and land-based training. For athletes aged 14 and over, the top programme includes four water sessions and two strength sessions each week. Players may be selected for KNZB national youth teams and, after selection, can progress through RTC Hollandse Delta to the KNZB water polo academy.
