Rubato Guitars is a family business creating premium carbon fibre electric guitars. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and London, United Kingdom, the brand combines a respect for the electric guitar’s best-loved traditions with a commitment to moving the instrument forward. Its founders draw inspiration from Leo and Les, whose influential designs remain popular decades after their creation, and share their ambition to expand what musicians can do.
Rubato’s guitars are designed to retain the familiar qualities players value while adding thoughtful innovation where it matters. The company’s website provides information about its guitar and neck, and explains how customers can place an order. It also shares updates and insights through a blog and mailing list, helping musicians learn more about the instruments and the ideas behind them.
With its focus on carbon fibre construction and continued development of the electric guitar, Rubato Guitars serves players seeking a premium instrument that builds on established designs while exploring new possibilities.
