Rubber Plantations Ghana Ltd (RPGL) is the second largest producer of Natural Rubber in Ghana. Operating mainly in the in the Eastern Region of Ghana, RPGL has its own rubber plantations as well as outgrowers. RPGL produces its own planting material from an extensive selection of clonal varieties. RPGL operates its own rubber nursery with a capacity of 1,000,000 plants. RPGL produces TSR 10 (Technically Specified Rubber) Natural Rubber at its TSR Plant. With land holdings of 4,000 Acres and an Outgrower Phase I project of 5,000 acres completed in 2016, RPGL is one of the giants in natural rubber in Ghana. Vision: - To be the leader in natural rubber in the Eastern Region of Ghana. - About the product: RPGL produces TSR 10 grade rubber. The TSR 10 which is also known as block rubber is graded according to precise technical parameters such as dirt content, ash content, nitrogen content, volatile matter and properties of the rubber such as its Wallace Plasticity (PO) and its Plasticity Retention Index (PRI) and is the grade most widely used by the tyre and rubber industry.
