Ruberti Counseling Services

Christine Ruberti-Bruning’s therapy practice provides eating disorder and body image counseling for LGBTQ+ and trans people in Philadelphia and online across Pennsylvania. Led by Christine, a licensed professional counselor, board-certified art therapist, and Certified Eating Disorders Specialist, the practice has served clients for more than 15 years. Its care is identity-affirming and size-inclusive, supporting people navigating disordered eating, food concerns, eating disorders, body dissatisfaction, and the effects of gender transition. Therapy is also available for partners of people who are transitioning, offering space to explore their own experiences and feelings.

Services include eating disorder therapy, body image counseling, and art therapy, alongside approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), intuitive eating, and Health at Every Size-informed care. Art therapy uses creative activities to help clients explore emotions and goals, and does not require artistic experience. The practice emphasizes compassion, curiosity, and understanding the roots of food and body struggles rather than prescribing how clients should feel.
