Linda Rubio is an equine expert witness serving Marin County, the San Francisco Bay Area, and clients nationwide. Drawing on decades of experience in the horse industry, she provides expertise for cases involving equine standards, stable management, horse accidents, riding instruction, horse behavior and training, accident reconstruction, riding camps, trail rides, rental horses, and endurance riding. Her work as an expert witness dates to 1990.

Rubio spent 40 years as owner, principal instructor, and manager of Miwok Livery Stables, a boarding and riding facility in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. She managed and trained employees, cared for horses, taught riders of all ages, led trail rides, and ran children’s camps. Before that, from 1970 to 1981, she owned and taught at Point Reyes Livery in Point Reyes National Seashore. In 2021, she established the Linda Rubio “Making Dreams Come True” Scholarship Fund with the Marin Horse Council to help children access riding lessons and programs, and she continues to teach some classes.
