Rubus K9

Rubus K9 provides tailored dog training in Knoxville, Tennessee, for family pets, puppies, sport dogs, and working teams. Led by Chris, an experienced Search and Rescue K9 handler and trainer, the brand emphasizes motivation, clear communication, and precise coaching to help dogs develop reliable skills with a positive attitude. Programs are shaped around each dog’s personality, the handler’s goals, and everyday life.

Services include private lessons in the home and real-world settings, a three-week Home School program, puppy fundamentals, virtual coaching, and customized Board and Train programs. Training can address basic obedience and behaviors such as jumping, barking, chewing, nipping, and reactivity, while puppy sessions cover communication, potty and crate training, and early skills. For working dogs and handlers, Rubus K9 offers support with tracking, detection, protection, and apprehension skills, as well as functional fitness and injury prevention. Programs include practical handler coaching and, where applicable, progress updates and ongoing support. A complimentary consultation helps assess a dog’s starting point and plan a suitable path forward.
