Dr. Ruby Gibson is the developer of Somatic Archaeology© and Executive Director of Freedom Lodge, an organization offering culturally grounded approaches to personal, ancestral, and collective healing. An international healer, speaker, and cultural educator, Dr. Ruby has spent her career developing Somatic Archaeology© and training others in this transgenerational approach to wellness, familial recovery, and reclaiming memory. The work connects embodied experience, ancestral memory, cultural wisdom, and relationship with the land to support restoration across generations.

Freedom Lodge offers individual Somatic Archaeology© sessions, online courses, and a private community, alongside reflections, practices, and educational resources. Dr. Ruby also developed the Historical Trauma Master Class for Native Americans. Her publications include My Body, My Earth: The Practice of Somatic Archaeology© and, with Ola Faye Bass, the My Body, My Breath™ card deck, a tool for transformation. Through these offerings, Freedom Lodge invites people to deepen their understanding of healing, explore the effects of historical and familial experiences, and reconnect with their bodies, lineage, and living land.
