Ruby Mae's Wish

Ruby Mae’s Wish is an Australian charity established by Nick and Kim Peake to honour their daughter Ruby Mae, who passed away at the age of four in April 2022. Inspired by Ruby’s caring nature and her wish to become a doctor or a mermaid, the organisation raises funds to help children’s hospitals care for sick children. Its support goes towards vital medical equipment and education for healthcare professionals.

The charity has donated hospital care bags to paediatric and children’s services, including intensive care units, rural hospitals and NSW Ambulance flight nurses. It has also contributed funds for medical equipment and paediatric intensive care renal education, donated junior resuscitation manikins to hospitals across New England North West, and funded paediatric outreach education days in rural hospitals. Care packs are available to support parents and carers, while merchandise such as a beanie and embroidered shirt offers another way to support the cause.
