About Ruddington Gardeners'
Ruddington Gardeners’ Association (RGA) is a welcoming gardening group open to people of all ages and abilities in Ruddington and beyond. Whether members enjoy gardening from an armchair, tending patio pots and window boxes, growing an allotment, or pursuing more hands-on horticulture, the association offers opportunities to share knowledge and enthusiasm. RGA meets on the last Wednesday of most months at 7:30 p.
m. at the Hermitage on Wilford Lane, where members can take part in monthly talks and connect with fellow gardeners. Its programme also includes visits to gardens, garden centres and an RHS garden, alongside social events such as afternoon tea, a Christmas gathering, and cheese and wine evenings.
The association shares updates, event reports and gardening-related news through its website, as well as providing helpful links and information about allotments and applying for a plot. Prospective members can find details about joining and contact the group through the site. RGA’s aim is to help people enjoy gardening together: sow it, grow it and enjoy it
