The Japan Rugby Football Union (JRFU) is the official governing body for rugby in Japan, bringing together information and resources for players, supporters, coaches, referees and the wider community. Its website covers Japan’s men’s and women’s national teams, sevens teams, age-grade squads and development programmes, alongside news, match schedules, results and tournament information.

JRFU supports rugby’s growth through resources on participation, coaching, officiating, safety, regulations and player development. Beginners can explore rules, essential terminology and viewing guides, while fans can find fixture calendars, venue details and ticket information. The organisation also provides school and club resources, team registration information, and guidance for people interested in getting involved in the sport.

Additional offerings include rugby events, digital archives, official publications, video content and online shop access. Supporters can engage through the Sakura Club, Japan Rugby ID, donations and crowdfunding initiatives. JRFU also shares updates through its official social media channels and provides information about its strategy, activities and partnerships.
