Rumchalpa

Rumchalpa is a diving centre set beside a flooded former quarry in Kumburský Újezd, near Nová Paka and within reach of the Krkonoše and Bohemian Paradise regions. Used for recreational and technical diving since 1979, the site offers a peaceful setting for diving training, water activities and time in nature. Its clear waters support a variety of aquatic life, including pike, perch, koi carp, crayfish and catfish; fishing is prohibited throughout the area.

The centre welcomes divers as well as visitors seeking a quiet lakeside break. Accommodation is available in cosy cabins and rooms in the main building, with bed linen provided. On-site facilities include a communal room with a wood-burning stove, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, a smoker, a large grill, showers, toilets and a drying room for diving equipment. Families can choose a more spacious cabin, while a cabin beside the water offers a distinctive setting. Rumchalpa brings diving, nature and comfortable stays together in a relaxed environment.
