RUN FOR MOVEMBER

Run for Movember is a charitable running event organized by Mo’Worker, z.s., a volunteer group dedicated to supporting men’s health. Inspired by the global Movember campaign, the organization raises funds and awareness about prostate and testicular cancer, with a particular focus on prevention and early detection. Its work began in 2014, and since 2016 it has aimed to encourage regular preventive checkups while bringing people together to support the cause.

The group’s main offering is an annual community race at Hostivař Reservoir in Prague, welcoming runners of different abilities. The 2026 event is scheduled for November 7 and offers 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km distances, with categories for men and women. Registration fees include race essentials and refreshments, while participants can also expect awards for winners, changing facilities, food, and drinks. Mo’Worker has previously supported the cause through events including Rock for Movember and uses its activities to make health awareness engaging and accessible. The organization is run by volunteers who contribute their time alongside their regular jobs.
