Sustainable Forest Management and Community Forestry is an information and outreach platform focused on protecting forests while supporting the people who depend on them. It explains sustainable forest management as an approach that safeguards and develops forest resources, preserves and enhances their values, improves livelihoods, protects the environment, and contributes to national security. The site shares stories about local forest stewards, community patrols, biodiversity conservation, and livelihood initiatives linked to forests.

Examples include growing ginger and rattan beneath forest cover, developing community forestry services, and protecting the grey-shanked douc langur. It also provides information on programs and projects, news and events, publications, reference materials, online articles, and videos. Recent coverage includes gender-responsive conservation training and Vietnam’s first forests to receive international FSC ecosystem services certification.

The platform highlights initiatives such as sustainable community forest management in A Luoi and conservation work in the Central Annamites. Its contact details identify the Center for Education and Development in Hanoi, which is associated with the website
