About Run Upcote
Run Upcote is a trail-running event brand based at Upcote Farm in Withington, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Its races invite runners to experience off-road routes through the Cotswolds, including private farm paths, bridleways, grass and forest tracks. The Spring Trail is a five-mile race scheduled for Sunday, 29 March 2026, with registration from 9am and a 10am start.
Limited to 300 runners, it features challenging climbs, flowing woodland sections and descents, with scenic views along the way. Entry is open to competitors aged 16 and over, with different prices for affiliated and unaffiliated runners. Race facilities include chip timing by Lush Timing, medals for all participants, food and toilets.
Awards are offered to the first three male and female finishers, junior winners and runners in veteran age categories from 40 to 70. Run Upcote is licensed by the Trail Running Association and affiliated with England Athletics. The event is held on private property, and the organizers ask people not to use the routes without permission
