Rural Women Peace Link is a grassroots, women-led organization based in Elgon View, Eldoret, Kenya. We aim to mobilize, influence, and promote the participation of local women in peace building, governance, and development through collaborative efforts and networking with diverse actors. At Rural Women Peace Link, we prioritize grassroots women because they are often marginalized in decision-making processes.

Our work focuses on several pillars, including women's human rights, making the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 count, peacebuilding, conflict mitigation, preventing new displacements, and strengthening local capacities for peace. We also have programs such as Early Warning Early Response (EWER) and Wezesha Amani Mashinani na Mama (WAMAMA). Through our initiatives, we aim to strengthen women's grassroots networks, uphold human rights, lobby for resources, and support measures that improve access to reproductive health services for women and girls at the grassroots level.

Our vision is to create a gender-sensitive society that values peaceful co-existence and recognizes the impactful contribution of women, youth, and marginalized groups.
