Rural Youth Europe (RYEurope) is a European Non-Governmental Organisation that works tirelessly to empower and activate young people in rural areas. Since its establishment in 1957, RYEurope has served as an umbrella organization for youth organizations dedicated to promoting rural youth and addressing social issues. They offer international training opportunities and act as a crucial link between national organizations, youth organizations, and public institutions across Europe.

RYEurope is driven by a member-led approach, ensuring that decisions are democratically made by young people for young people. They have a clear vision and mission to educate and train young individuals, actively encourage rural populations, support the growth of rural youth organizations, and network with other European NGOs. They are also committed to advocating on behalf of rural youth to international and national bodies.

To achieve their goals, RYEurope utilizes events as a platform for learning, development, and improving the lives of rural youngsters. Their annual seminars and rallies delve into various topics, such as rural development, youth participation, intercultural dialogue, and human rights. Moreover, RYEurope offers structured governance through a Board and General Assembly, ensuring effective representation and leadership.

With 23 member organizations from 20 countries and a vast network of over 500,000 young people, Rural Youth Europe has become a prominent force in bridging the gap between rural communities and the wider European society. Through their intercultural learning opportunities, advocacy efforts, and commitment to empowering young leaders, they create a safe and inclusive space where rural youth can reach their full potential and pursue their ambitions
