Ruspolitisk fellesråd

Ruspolitisk fellesråd is a Norwegian collaboration of organizations, lodges and local groups working to reduce the harms associated with substance use and build a safer, substance-free society. Its shared goals include preventing drug use, reducing alcohol consumption, promoting substance-free lifestyles and ensuring that people who need treatment can access help promptly. The council emphasizes prevention, information and cooperation as ways to support individual and community wellbeing.

Rather than presenting itself as a treatment provider, Ruspolitisk fellesråd brings member organizations together to strengthen their impact. It welcomes organizations, lodges and local groups interested in joining the network and offers opportunities to plan and carry out joint work. This can include shared events, digital campaigns and local initiatives. The council encourages members to exchange ideas, coordinate efforts and support one another in advancing common goals. With more than 22 member organizations and a board made up of volunteers from different groups, Ruspolitisk fellesråd provides a platform for collective engagement and practical collaboration toward a society where substance use causes less harm.
