About Romanian Centre for Russian Studies
The Romanian Centre for Russian Studies is a dedicated group of researchers operating within the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest, Romania. We have come together with the common goal of studying Russia's geopolitics, particularly in Eastern Europe and the Black Sea region. Recognizing the increasing aggression displayed by Russia in recent years on various fronts such as politics, economics, social media, and military, we aim to deepen our understanding and knowledge of this subject.
Our aim is to produce a series of specialized studies that shed light on Russia's actions and their implications. We take full responsibility for the content we provide. It is important to note that our viewpoints do not necessarily represent those of the donor countries (Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein) or our partner institutes (The University of Bucharest and the Fridtjof Nansen Institute)
