The Rustic Way, located in Elk River, MN, is a brand that specializes in creating unique and beautiful reclaimed buildings, carpentry, and furniture. With a deep-rooted passion for old wood and antiques, founder Dan Pauly brings a rich heritage of four generations of wood-working artisans to his craftsmanship. Dan's work reflects the pride and tradition passed down from his family, spanning two centuries and bridging continents.
To create his high-quality pieces, Dan scours the Midwest and beyond for the best sources of reclaimed wood, carefully dismantling aging structures to preserve as much usable wood as possible in its natural, weathered condition. Through two decades of experience-proven techniques, including planning, hand-sanding, and multiple layers of finish, Dan enhances the wood's natural beauty, bringing out the character that nature has developed over the course of 100-plus years. With a focus on preserving the unique history, warm luster, tight grain, and rich patina of old wood, The Rustic Way offers a wide range of products, including saunas, guest cottages, garden sheds, playhouses, and interiors.
Each piece is a work of art, showcasing the craftsmanship and respect for the past that defines The Rustic Way. Contact The Rustic Way today to experience the timeless beauty of reclaimed wood
