Ruth Pay

Ruth Pay is an experienced, five-star-rated birth and postnatal doula serving Kent, Medway and South East London, including Maidstone and Rochester. A mother and antenatal teacher, Ruth offers compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to each family’s circumstances, preferences and goals. Her approach is non-judgmental: she helps parents understand their options and feel supported in making decisions that are right for them.

Services span pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. They include antenatal education, newborn preparation, hypnobirthing, and birth support, with a virtual or distance “Pocket Doula” option. Ruth also provides postnatal support, breastfeeding help and night doula care, as well as 3 Step Rewind, a service intended to help process trauma. She works with clients and, where applicable, their birth partners and families, taking time to build familiarity before birth.

Ruth keeps informed about research, expert guidance and local best practice. Prospective clients can arrange a free call to discuss the support available and whether it suits their needs.
