Rutland Poultry is a family-run poultry business based on a working farm in Ketton. It supplies healthy, high-quality chickens for small-scale poultry keepers, with orders ranging from a single bird to as many as 500. The business offers point-of-lay hens, chicken feed and poultry housing, alongside other poultry-related supplies to help customers care for their birds. Whether starting with a few chickens or arranging a larger order, customers can contact the farm with questions or to plan a visit.
Rutland Poultry is generally staffed throughout the week, but visitors are asked to call ahead to confirm that someone will be available to meet them. Weekday visits are by appointment, and weekend opening times are published on the website. Customers can arrange a visit by calling Andy. The business also shares updates through social media and points visitors to its sister sites, Ketton Logs and Ketton Pumpkins, for information about firewood and pumpkins.
