About RVTS Nord
RVTS Nord is a regional resource center in Tromsø that specializes in refugee health and forced migration, suicide prevention, violence, and traumatic stress. As a diverse and knowledgeable team, we transform expertise into practice through training, guidance, and digital resources. We are not a treatment facility, but rather a service for other services, aiming to enhance the competence of professionals in the field.
Our range of services includes prevention of suicide and self-harm, refugee health and forced migration support, addressing violence and sexual abuse, and understanding trauma. We offer various activities and events, such as webinars and networking sessions, to promote learning and collaboration. At RVTS Nord, we are committed to supporting those who work with trauma and crisis-affected individuals, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet their needs.
