Regionalverband Zentralschweiz Segeln (RVZS) is a regional sailing association dedicated to developing youth sailing and strengthening sailing culture in Central Switzerland. Its activities take place on Lake Lucerne, Lake Zug, Lake Ägeri, Lake Hallwil, and Lake Sempach. The association aims to encourage children and young people to take up sailing and, in particular, to inspire them to pursue it as a competitive sport.
RVZS supports junior sailors across several disciplines, including Optimist, ILCA/Laser, 420er, and IQ-Foil. Its programs and services include a junior development framework, training camps, open training, events, and the Regio-Cup, as well as support for national championships and other sailing competitions. The association also provides education and development opportunities for sailors, officials, and coaches, including courses connected with J+S and 1418, and its Coach to Coach program.
Through its network of clubs, RVZS works to support sailing in the region. It shares news, documents, event information, and details about funding and sponsors, and invites engaged people to help shape the association’s future.
