RWCA, the Rwanda Wildlife Conservation Association, is dedicated to the preservation of Rwanda's diverse and wonderful wildlife. Founded in 2014, RWCA is committed to protecting endangered species and their habitats, using a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach. The organization's projects include saving the Grey Crowned Cranes, bat research and conservation, youth environmental education, combating illegal wildlife trafficking, community outreach, habitat restoration, and more.

Notably, RWCA has successfully restored 21 hectares of wetland in Kigali, providing a home for over 50 disabled Grey Crowned Cranes rescued from captivity. They also work to restore and protect natural habitats, monitor and protect endangered species, and combat illegal wildlife trade. The organization's efforts are led by Dr. Olivier Nsengimana, a highly acclaimed conservationist, recognized for his exceptional work in wildlife conservation.
