RxLaboratorio is a dynamic, international nonprofit organization focused on fostering a collaborative community centered around free and open-source software for motion picture production. Established in France, RxLaboratorio promotes equality, financial independence, and mutual assistance, advocating for an ethical approach to creativity that challenges traditional mercantilism. The organization emerged in 2021 from the talented endeavors of Nicolas “Duduf” Dufresne and his pioneering work on the Duik animation tool, which paved the way for a variety of innovative software developed under accessible licenses.
