Ryan Holt Golf

Ryan Holt Golf is a golf instruction business led by Ryan Holt, a Class A PGA teaching professional based at River Oaks Golf Club in Sandy, Utah. With 14 years of teaching experience, Holt works with golfers at every level, from junior beginners to professional players. His recognition includes a place on Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in State list for 2017–2018 and the 2016 Utah PGA Teacher of the Year award. He holds certifications with the Titleist Performance Institute, Trackman, K-Vest, and Dana Dahlquist, and applies his computer science background from the University of Utah to golf instruction.

Lessons use technology such as Trackman, K-Vest, and Boditrak to measure swing movements and identify areas for improvement. Holt also uses JC Video to connect swing measurements with visible motion, then develops repeatable drills to help students practice changes. His teaching approach is collaborative: students provide feedback, describe successful movements in their own words, and build a swing that feels comfortable to them.
