S2S, or the Subseasonal-to-Seasonal Prediction Project, is a collaborative initiative focusing on enhancing prediction capabilities for weather patterns ranging from subseasonal to seasonal timescales. Operated by the APEC Climate Center and the Korea Meteorological Administration, the project aims to advance scientific understanding and operational applications to improve weather forecasting.

S2S offers a wealth of resources and services, including a comprehensive database containing datasets about various climatic factors such as the Madden-Julian Oscillation, aerosols, land, ocean, and stratospheric dynamics. These products facilitate research collaborations and promote knowledge sharing among global researchers and practitioners.

Additionally, S2S supports regional activities in diverse geographical areas including Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, dedicating specific efforts to address unique climatic challenges faced by each region. By engaging with a wide array of stakeholders, S2S fosters advancements in weather prediction and climate resilience, striving to enhance the effectiveness of weather-related services. The project remains accessible until December 31, 2025, ensuring continued support for its community.
