Saba Dublin

Saba is an award-winning Thai and Vietnamese restaurant and cocktail bar brand founded in Dublin in 2006 by Paul Cadden and Executive Head Chef Taweesak Trakoolwattana. Its name means “happy meeting place,” reflecting its focus on welcoming guests for authentic Southeast Asian food, friendly service and a lively atmosphere. The Saba Restaurant Group operates three dine-in locations: South William Street and Baggot Street in Dublin, and Kildare Village. Each offers its own character, with options including brunch, private dining and celebrations.

The brand also runs Saba To Go, a takeaway service with locations in Rathmines, Windy Arbour and Deansgrange, offering restaurant-quality meals for home. Two food trucks serve festivals and events around Ireland, and Saba provides corporate catering and private-event services. Guests can book cocktail masterclasses and wine-tasting experiences, while the brand sells gift vouchers, a cookbook and Saba simmer sauces through Dunnes Stores. Saba’s cookbook, created by Cadden and Trakoolwattana, has received multiple international awards. Saba also highlights biodegradable takeaway packaging and community fundraising.
