Sabal Taekwondo

Sabal Taekwondo is a women-owned and operated martial arts school serving Palm Harbor and the wider Tampa Bay area. Located inside Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, the school offers Taekwondo classes beginning at 4 p.m. for children as young as five. Students can train in both traditional and competitive Taekwondo, with instruction led by experienced martial artists.

Master Jamie Costello, the head instructor and coach, began training in 1993 and has taught and supported students throughout her career. She holds a fourth Dan rank, is a Kukkiwon-certified instructor, and is part of the Kukkiwon Branch of Florida. Assistant Coach Angela Costello also has a long Taekwondo background and is certified as a self-defense instructor. Together, the instructors bring experience in martial arts teaching and athlete development.

The school’s name reflects the sabal palm, Florida’s state tree and a symbol of resilience and strength. Sabal Taekwondo welcomes families seeking martial arts training in a supportive local setting.
