About SABE
SABE, or the Society for the Advancement of Behavioral Economics, is a community of scholars that was founded in 1982. Their primary mission is to develop behavioral economic analysis. The society serves as a forum for particularly creative work in the field, bringing together scholars from various disciplines such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, neuroscience, history, political science, and biology.
Behavioral economics involves going beyond traditional economic assumptions and incorporating insights from other fields to explain a wider range of economic and behavioral phenomena. SABE provides a platform for scholars to meet and collaborate, fostering productive partnerships and encouraging the exchange of ideas.
