Saber

Saber is a Saudi government e-platform that helps individuals, importers, local manufacturers, and government entities register products and obtain conformity documentation before products enter the Saudi market. The platform is designed to support product safety, reduce delays in clearing consumer goods, and simplify the import and compliance process.

Its services cover commercial products, products not intended for consumer display, and vehicle imports. Users can register products, record product conformity certificates, submit local or importer self-declarations, and obtain shipment certificates. For products outside the consumer-display pathway, Saber also provides shipment conformity certificates. The platform offers access to technical regulations, conformity assessment bodies, inspection bodies for vehicles and motorcycles, harmonized system codes, and information about products not subject to technical regulations.

Saber serves both commercial and personal import needs, as well as locally manufactured consumer products. It publishes guidance and updates on applicable standards and requirements. The platform operates in connection with Saudi product conformity processes and is associated with the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).
