Sabines Ponyschule

Sabines Ponyschule is a family-focused pony and riding education business in Schönanger, in the Bavarian Forest community of Neuschönau. Founded by licensed Pony-Motion riding educator Sabine Neuwerth, it offers experiential activities for children, primarily ages three to ten. The approach emphasizes building a respectful relationship with ponies, learning safe and considerate horse handling, and enjoying movement and nature, rather than focusing solely on riding skills.

Programs are arranged by age and experience, from parent-and-child pony sessions and a pony kindergarten to foundational classes that introduce grooming, feeding, horse behavior, groundwork, riding posture, and basic riding skills. The school also runs introductory sessions, holiday activities, and themed workshops, including forest outings, pony communication, and practical hoof-care learning. Activities combine guided riding, games, horse care, and age-appropriate knowledge, with attention to children’s confidence, coordination, and social skills. The school’s ponies are kept in an open stable with an emphasis on species-appropriate care.
