**Sabino Canyon Volunteer Naturalists**
Sabino Canyon Volunteer Naturalists is a dedicated organization based in Tucson, Arizona, that has been inspiring appreciation for the natural wonders of Sabino Canyon for over 40 years. Partnering with the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest, they offer a range of educational programs designed for both children and adults. Visitors can immerse themselves in the stunning beauty of the canyon through various guided opportunities such as walks, hikes, and engaging demonstrations led by seasoned naturalists.
Their popular school programs provide enriching field trips, allowing students to explore the rich ecology and history of the area for free. Additionally, the organization is committed to conservation, advocating for the preservation of the canyon's wildlife, much of which relies on the unique habitat of Sabino Creek. For those looking to dive deeper, their "Canyon Classroom" offers informative videos on local geology and wildlife. They also encourage community involvement by training new naturalists annually, fostering a strong connection to the environment.
